New pay scheme for DTH and CABLE TV users

                            Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has made an announcement that from January 1,2019, channels which we watch for free will no longer be free. Each channel will have a price tag on it.

                           There will be 2 types of channels , one will be free air channels and another will be pay channels .

                          Free air channels package will be provided for everyone with a normal price as we pay now and  pay channels have have price to be paid . And to be more clear free air channels won't contain most of the channels which we watch now.

                           These are the amount which will have to be paid to watch our favourite channels .

This new scheme is done to avoid DTH and CABLE TV Operators from providing some channels which we won't watch at all from the day of installation , and to pay only for the channels which we watch .

   Major drawback for this scheme is that we have to pay more than the usual amount we pay that is around 500 - 600 INR per month to watch our  favourite tv channels .
